New Orleans, Louisiana
Lisa administers LouisianaLawHelp.org, a free legal information site, probono.net/la, for civil justice advocates, and related projects for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services.

To connect people with online help she automated forms, made low-cost videos, manages content for English and Spanish versions of LouisianaLawHelp.org, and created online training sessions for the legal aid community. She is now developing online forms and legal guides for librarians and self-represented people.

Her projects received Technology Initiative Grant support from the Legal Services Corporation. She addressed judges, librarians, TIG conference attendees and the general public about technology for people in need.

This all started when she went from Yale Law School into practice with New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation, moving from there to journalism and legal writing. She held a teaching fellowship at Tulane Law School, covered law, business, travel for local and national publications and worked with a large New Orleans law firm before joining Southeast Louisiana Legal Services.
